Hannah Davis is leaving Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas ABC station WFAA on March 15.

Davis hosts the station’s morning lifestyle show Good Morning Texas, which airs after Good Morning America.

“After prayer and careful consideration I have decided now is a season of change,” Davis wrote on social media. “I’ve decided not to re-sign with WFAA and I am grateful to our station’s leadership for accepting my decision with support.”

Davis said that she’s now creating space to accept the offers of television hosting, acting, voice over work, brand sponsorship and consultation, and emcee work she said she hasn’t “had the space to explore while working a full-time job.”

She joined WFAA in 2016 as a multimedia journalist. Houston media blogger Mike McGuff said Davis joined Good Morning Texas in 2021. Davis has also worked at KWCH in Wichita, Kan.
