“I am thrilled to be returning to the Meredith Local Media Group,” said Brown. “Meredith has a strong station group with outstanding news and marketing teams. I look forward to working closely with our stations to build on that success.”

This is Brown’s second stint with the Meredith. He was the news director at WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut. He also served as news director for WTOV, WUPW, and WPRI. He was also the vice president of news for Newport Television where he oversaw 22 markets.

Meredith owns 17 stations reaching 11 percent of U.S. households. Brown starts his new role on March 19.
