Samantha York is leaving WHP in Harrisburg, Pa.
“Central PA, you trusted me as an advocate and treated me as a friend. I’ve grown personally and professionally because of you. Thank you for your kindness, your support and for allowing me the privilege of sharing your stories,” she wrote on Facebook. “To my CBS 21 team and other colleagues in the field, you ALL have become friends, mentors, family — I’m lucky to know you. It’s time to continue chasing my dreams. I’m excited to share more on my next step soon.”
She started working at the CBS affiliate as a general assignment reporter in 2021. Before that. she worked as an MMJ at WJAC in State College, Pa. She started her career as a desk assistant and NBC News.
