Fresno Anchor Set to Return After Knee Surgery

By Kevin Eck

KMPH anchor Erik Rosales is set to come back to work after suffering complications from knee surgery several months ago.

“The FOX anchor and reporter completed a second surgery to fix his right knee in December,” reports The Fresno Bee. “Five months earlier, he had surgery to resurface his knee with titanium. That surgery had to be repeated when he slipped and fell while in the shower.”

Before joining KMPH, Rosales worked at KGO in San Francisco. He’s worked in Fresno for more than 20 years.

Here’s a bit about the complications he faced from a story the station did in September.

He had knee surgery a few months ago and two more since then.
“Still battling a fever, doctors do plan another surgery this afternoon to clean out the knee joint and plan to continue antibiotic drip line for next 6 weeks.” Erik posted to facebook today.
