Fox Stations Renew Divorce Court

Fox Television Stations has renewed Divorce Court through the 2019 season.

The show is “presided over” by Judge Lynn Toler and is the longest running court show on television. It started in 1957 and ran until 1969. It came back in 1985 and ran until 1992, then returned for its current run in 1999. Back in the 50s, actors would reenact the courtroom drama. Today its provided by real people.

“’Divorce Court’ is one of the most recognizable titles in the court genre and Lynn Toler is one of that genre’s most trusted judges,” said Stephen Brown, evp of programming and development at Fox Television Stations. “The cases and drama are real – it’s loud, funny and many times, powerful.”

According to Fox, Divorce Court averages 1.9 million views per month on YouTube. It has over a million likes on Facebook and its videos have over 5 million views. The show has a reach of 4.4 million people as of last week.
