Fox San Antonio Anchor Leaves Following Tumor Surgery

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

San Antonio anchor Jessica Headley is leaving the station as the 9 p.m. anchor.

She’s been with KABB for seven years and thanked viewers for following her journey.

It’s been an honor to serve San Antonio for the past seven years. So many of you have embraced me, supported me, and lived through the ups and downs of some very important years of my life. As many of you know, I’ve been battling some ongoing health issues including a baseball size benign tumor that was recently removed. I expect to make a full recovery very soon, yet I will be taking some months off to heal per doctors’ suggestions. I’m also thrilled to be getting married in just a few weeks to a wonderful man I met here in San Antonio who serves our country and is pursuing some exciting opportunities. Only God knows where our journey will take us in the next year. I’ll be stepping away from my TV life to recover and to see where this next stage of life takes us. From Traffic Anchor for both Fox San Antonio and News 4 San Antonio, to Talons In-Game Arena Host, to Movie Show Host, Fox News First Morning Anchor, to now, Fox News at Nine Main Anchor, thank you for joining me on this incredible journey and for the years of love and support you have offered me. I will of course miss some very special people here including Chuck Miketinac, Alex Garcia, Ryan Wolf, Ernie Zuniga and so many others. Thank you to my bosses here who believe in my hard work and potential and have opened up these opportunities. I hope my time here with Fox San Antonio has helped shine a light on all of the good happening in our community. My last day will be Tuesday, July 30th. Join me every day until then on Fox News at Nine. Thank you, San Antonio, for welcoming me into your homes.
