Fox Names Bob Cook GM of KTTV-KCOP

Bob Cook has been named vp and gm of Los Angeles Fox-owned stations KTTV-KCOP.

Cook (pictured left) takes over for Kevin Hale who announced his retirement in February.

“We are happy to welcome Bob back to Fox,” said Jack Abernethy (pictured right) ceo of Fox Television Stations. We know that his experience and passion for the business will ensure the success of these important television stations.”

Cook started an entertainment and consulting business, MBN, Inc., after working for almost a decade as president of Twentieth Television. Before joining Fox in 2000, he was evp of CBS Enterprises and was svp for Sony’s Columbia Tri Star Television, before that.
