FOX Deal for KTVU to Close this Week, New GM and News Director Announced

KTVU LOGO_304x200TVSpy has learned the deal for the San Francisco Bay Area FOX affiliate KTVU is expected to close this week.

FOX Television Stations CEO Jack Abernethy has revealed the new management for KTVU as part of the ownership change from Cox to FOX.

In an email obtained by TVSpy, Abernethy told staffers WFXT GM Gregg Kelley will be named VP and GM of KTVU-KICU while, as FTVLive first reported, Dana Hahn from FOX’s Washington, D.C. station WTTG will be named VP and news director. Abernethy also announced Mellynda Hartel will be named VP and GSM of the soon-to-be FOX owned station.
