Will You Watch This New Social News Show?

Starting Monday, July 11, Fox-owned stations in the New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Phoenix and Minneapolis markets will begin airing a four week preview of a new show called So-Me.

The show, which focuses on the day’s trending topics, is a partnership between Fox Television Stations, Trifecta Entertainment and POPSUGAR.

The 30-minute daily show will “break down and give diverse perspectives, from the serious to hilarious, on the biggest trending stories of the day, all through a social media lens.”

“We all know the headlines each day,” said Stephen Brown, evp of programming and development for Fox Television Stations. “‘So-Me’ gives those headlines context. What are people saying about this event or that person? How is this relevant to my life? Our hosts are like your friends on Facebook engaging in a spirited debate.”

So-Me will be hosted by Sam Schacher, Nancy Redd, Tehran Von Ghasri, Roseny Carrero, and Brett Erlich.

Here’s a look at the Markets and time slots:
· New York – WNYW 1 p.m. and WWOR 5 p.m.
· Los Angeles – KTTV 12 a.m. and KCOP 4 p.m.
· Washington DC – WDCA 4 p.m.
· San Francisco – KTVU Plus at 1:30 p.m.
· Phoenix – KSAZ 12:30 p.m.
· Minneapolis – KMSP 1:30 p.m.
