WTIC, the Tribune owned Fox affiliate in the Hartford-New Haven market, will add traffic to the early evening newscasts.
Morning traffic reporter Rachel Lutzker will move to the evenings.
“Her years of experience analyzing Connecticut’s often complex traffic picture on both FOX 61 and iHeartRadio, clearly makes Rachel the most skilled and trusted traffic reporter in the market,” said station vice president and general manager, Jon Hitchcock.

Lutzker brings more than 20 years experience to the new traffic initiative.
In addition to her afternoon traffic duties, Rachel will team up with Jim Altman to create new segments for the Emmy Award winning segment Daytrippers.
Reports begin August 12.
