Fort Myers Reporter Heading to Washington, D.C.

Sam Sweeney will join Sinclair’s Washington, D.C. station WJLA.

Sweeney is a reporter at WBBH.

Before coming to the Fort Myers, Fla. NBC affiliate in June 2013, Sweeney worked at WMGM in New Jersey. He started his career at KNXV in Phoenix.

He told TVSpy he starts at WJLA as a general assignment reporter April 13.
