WTAJ reporter, Mallory Lane, announced she was leaving the station in April.
Over the weekend, Lane made another announcement. She is joining WXII 12 News, the NBC-affiliate in the Winston-Salem market as a reporter.
“I’m thrilled to announce that I will join the WXII 12 News team in Winston Salem, NC as a reporter! I start tomorrow and I could not be more excited for this opportunity,” Lane said.

Lane spent close to five years reporting for the Nexstar-owned CBS-affiliate in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. According to her post, this move closer to home and her alma mater, Elon University.
She started at WXII today.
