Youngstown, Ohio NBC affiliate WFMJ announced a memorial service this Friday for former WFMJ anchor Laura Steele, who died last Friday.
WFMJ reports Steele died unexpectedly at the age of 46.
During her 15 year career, she worked in Akron and Youngstown, Ohio as well as Buffalo, New York and was an anchor at WFMJ from 1998 until 2004. Most recently, she was district manager at the Nielsen Company.

Steele’s funeral will be held on Friday, January 6 at 11 a.m.
