WNCT has confirmed with TVSpy, Jeff Varner no longer works at the Greenville, N.C. CBS affiliate.
The former contestant on “Survivor: The Australian Outback” worked as a reporter at WPIX in New York before coming to WNCT in 2012 to work as an anchor. He’s also worked at WWMT in Grand Rapids, Mich., WGHP in Greensboro and KCBS in Los Angeles.
Before working in local news, he was an entertainment reporter who has appeared on Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood and Xtra. he has also been a featured correspondent on E! News and the TV Guide Network.
