“The station was incredibly understanding and I’m extremely appreciative of my time in Arizona and the wonderful people there – especially my awesome colleagues. I’m also excited to have joined the team today at WCVB. In my view, it’s one of the best stations in the country, and the station we grew up watching in my home. I’m extremely grateful for this new opportunity,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

He worked at the Tegna owned station in Phoenix for a year and four months before leaving.
