Former Panama City Chief Meteorologist Dies at 45

Jason Kelley, former chief meteorologist at WJHG in Panama City, Florida, has died after a battle with cancer. He was 45.

Kelley worked at WJHG from 1999 until 2009. He then worked at WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama before going to work for Verizon.

The Birmingham NBC affiliate says Kelley had a passion from hurricanes, severe weather and Alabama football.
