Former New Orleans Anchor Nancy Parker Honored at Mardi Gras

In the Big Easy, a Mardi Gras float paid tribute to former WVUE anchor Nancy Parker.

Parker died in a stunt plane crash last August while covering a story.

Video shows her husband and children rode the float, which paid tribute to the New Orleans news legend.

“Nancy Parker’s float, her husband and children rode in her memory,” said Fox 8 reporter Amanda Roberts.

Parker was also honored at The Krewe of Endymion Saturday night at the Extravaganza.
