After taking a brief break from news in Washington D.C., former NBC Washington morning anchor Angie Goff is resurfacing at WTTG.

Fox 5 announced she would be the station’s new 4 p.m. co-anchor alongside Blake McCoy and co-host of the daily roundtable show Like It Or Not.

“Angie is authentic and embodies everything this station strives to deliver to viewers. We are confident that having this unrelenting and versatile journalist working for us will enhance our evening programming and social media presence,” said vp and news director Paul McGonagle.

Goff served as a weekend morning anchor and reporter for WRC. She also contributed to NBC’s Today and filled in as a host for Early Today and MSNBC. Prior to that, Goff was an MMJ at WUSA in Washington.

She starts July 8.
