Former KVUE Anchor Takes a Job in PR

Former KVUE newscaster Olga Campos Benz has joined the PR industry in Austin.

According to Austin360.com, Benz will join a local company called Bloom Communications as a community development director.

“I am thrilled to join a team with such an active and meaningful role in our local community,” she said.

Last year, Benz published a book called “It’s News to Me.”

Benz left the Tegna owned station in 2016 after 16 years as a reporter-anchor.
