Former KHOU news director Phil Bruce is set to be the news director at KTUL in Tulsa, Okla.
“Take Me Back To Tulsa!” Bruce wrote on Facebook. “I’m heading to KTUL as news director of this great ABC station, which I grew up watching as a youngster in NW Arkansas.”
Bruce left Houston’s KHOU in January. He started there in 2011 after working at NPR as a senior network news manager.
