Former CNN Reporter Returning to KTVU

Ted Rowlands is going back to Oakland Fox-owned station KTVU to work as an anchor and reporter.

Bay Area media blogger Rich Lieberman first reported the news that the former CNN correspondent was going back to the last local station he worked at before taking the national stage in 2004.

Rowlands has also worked at KNTV and KICU in the San Francisco Bay Area. KSBW in Salinas-Monterey, Calif. and KBJR in Duluth, Minn.

He starts July 11.
