When it was announced Desiree Wiley was leaving Buffalo’s WKBW, station GM Mike Nurse said she was “presumably” heading to a larger market. Turns out that market is Boston.
Wiley is joining NBC Boston/NECN as an anchor/reporter in August.
The 2014 and 2015 runner up for the Miss New York title started working at WKBW in August 2013. She got her journalism degree from Buffalo State College.
