Former Fox 25 personality Doug Meehan has landed a speaking role–playing a TV reporter no less–in Ben Affleck‘s flick “The Town.”
Affleck himself handpicked the ex-chopper and traffic reporter to play the part after viewing the video-taped auditions of over a dozen people vying for the role.

The Cambridge native and his crew were back in Charlestown last week re-shooting an alternative ending to the bank robber thriller. Affleck is directing and starring in the film, playing a Charlestown bank robber named Doug. More…
