Former Albany Anchor Heads Back to Hartford

Jill Konopka has joined WTIC in Hartford, Conn. as a freelance reporter.

This is a return to Hartford for Konopka, who worked at WVIT and at WFSB before joining WNYT in Albany, N.Y. as an anchor and reporter. She left that station in late December.

She has also worked at WBRE in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and WUHF in Rochester, N.Y.

Konopka was welcomed by one of her colleagues at the Fox affiliate.
