Florida Anchor Arrested for Impersonating a Police Officer

Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives said they arrested a man for impersonating an officer Friday morning. Victor Martinez, an anchor and managing editor for Central Florida News 13 En Espaol, is charged with one count of impersonating a law enforcement officer.

The investigation began on February 15 when deputies arrived at Lost Creek Court in reference to a suspicious incident. Deputies spoke with a man who said he was involved in a road rage incident on State Road-417.

According to the victim, the driver followed him to his residence and partially blocked him in his driveway with his vehicle. The victim approached the suspect, later identified as Martinez, and asked him why he followed him to his residence. More…
