Chris Stanford, former anchor/reporter for St. Louis CBS affiliate KMOV, has found himself a new gig. You may recall that back in August, Stanford was unceremoniously fired from KMOV because they decided he ‘wasn’t a good fit.’
After months of unemployment, Stanford has now been hired by Wichita ABC affiliate KAKE. He announced the news on Facebook on Sunday, writing:
Unemployment is not for me, I’ve realized. I’m soon headed to work with the fine professionals at KAKE-TV in Wichita, KS to anchor their weekday evening newscasts. This is an exciting opportunity that comes with great responsibility. Thank you to all of the kind neighbors, friends, colleagues and viewers that made our time in St. Louis more enjoyable.

Stanford’s first day at KAKE is January 12.
