An early morning fire in the server room at Oklahoma City NBC affiliate KFOR forced the station to air part of its morning show on Facebook Live.
The station says staffers noticed power flashes throughout the building around 3:40 a.m. They called 911 after the fire alarms went off. The staff was allowed back into the building after fire crews cleared the building of smoke.

The station compiled a timeline of sorts in video and social media posts to tell the story. Click here to check it out.
The station was back on-air at 4:57 a.m. with the weather software working, but no video or graphics capabilities.
The UPS (uninterrupted power source) system was to blame.
