Moseley announced his departure on Facebook a few days ago, writing:

I came to a career crossroads a few months ago. The station was bought and sold a couple of times and I was no longer doing the job I came to Phoenix to do.

Moseley is referring to the fact that a year ago he was taken off the primary anchor shift. KTVK was sold to Meredith by Belo Corp. via Gannett in 2014. He continued:

Moving always adds some excitement to the career. There are new things to see and people to meet. But the work is really the same. And this job doesn’t feel like an adventure anymore. It feels like a job.

Ultimately, Moseley decided it was time to leave the world of TV news for a new gig as communications director for Maricopa County.

This is his last week at KTVK.
