“I know Shelley gave this very serious thought–She’s anxious to get back,” wrote anchor and managing editor Brad Byrd on his facebook page. “Shelley will be at the desk with Greg Parker and Ron Rhodes in the mornings with her dedication–and that smile. We could not be happier.”

Kirk first started at WEHT in 1989. She joined Evansville’s Fifth Third Bank in 2012 as marketing director. Amman started his career in Northeast Michigan before moving to WBKO in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He joined WEHT-WTVW in June 2009.

Earlier, we reported Heidi Waggoner was joining KNWA from Nexstar’s Fresno station KSEE. We asked news director Brook Thomas about the moves. We will update when we hear back.
