Erica Collura, the meteorologist who recently left WHIO in Dayton, OH, isn’t moving far. Cincinnati’s WKRC announced she will join the Sinclair owned CBS affiliate next Thursday, October 24.
“We are happy to have a meteorologist like Erica joining The Weather Authority team at Local 12,” WKRC news director Kirk Varner said in a statement. “Her experience in forecasting the weather for our part of the country makes her a great addition to what is now the largest team of broadcast meteorologists in the Tri-State.”
Collura, who started her career at WHIO, will work on the WKRC 4:00 p.m. news and the 10:00 p.m. news on the digital CW subchannel.
