It’s National Weatherperson Day. You probably already knew this because the hashtags were popping up across all social media.
In New York City, WABC, the flagship ABC station, did a throwback tribute to morning meteorologist and former Good Morning America weatherman Sam Champion.
The station put together a throwback video that featured Champion during his time in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1986. Champion had brown hair and a mustache—a look the team couldn’t get over. A “bring back the ‘stache'” made it to the traffic report.

Champion, who no longer has a mustache or brown hair, couldn’t quite figure out how they dug up the video.
