A little more than a month after being moved to the WPEC weekend morning anchor desk from weekday mornings, Emily Pantelides has announced she will be leaving the station.

Gossip Extra first reported the news, getting ‘no comments’ from both Pantelides and station management,

“I’m contractually obligated not to comment,” the pint-sized personality (Pantelides) said when asked about her imminent departure.

News director Cathy Younkin emailed a comment this am: “Nothing is confirmed. So there’s no comment.”

In September, TVSpy reported the West Palm Beach CBS affiliate moved its evening anchors, Suzanne Boyd and Eric Roby to the morning show after hiring John Discepolo.  The move shifted Pantelides and her co-anchor Juan Carlos Fanjul to weekends with Pantelides anchoring weekend mornings and Fanjul anchoring weekend evenings.

TVSpy has reached out to Pantelides and will update this post when we hear back.
