Adam Shear is joining Fort Wayne, Indiana NBC affiliate WISE.
Shear is the sports anchor at Elkhart, Indiana Fox affiliate WSJV.
“Starting this Wednesday I’ll be taking over as the main Sports Anchor at the NBC station in Fort Wayne, and while I’ll miss FOX28, I can’t wait to take all the great things I learned here to the Summit City,” Shear told viewers last night on WSJV. “I honestly don’t think this promotion would’ve happened without the great mentorship I got from so many folks here.”

Before joining WSJV in 2012 as a multimedia journalist, Shear was a news reporter in Waco, Texas.
