The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing Fox News for retaliating against its reporter, Catherine Herridge, after she complained that she was discriminated against because of her age and gender, according to an EEOC complaint filed Thursday.
Herridge, whose short haircut and homeland security beat earned her the nickname the terror pixie from some of her Fox News colleagues, is a national correspondent on Fox. She joined Fox News in 1996 as the London correspondent, a job she had previously held for ABC News.
She was born in 1964, and has a bachelors degree from Harvard and a masters in journalism from Columbia. More…
