KWTX has announced Ed Sorensen has joined the Waco CBS affiliate as evening sports anchor.
Sorensen, who starts Monday, worked at WRTV in Indianapolis for 18 years as sports director before leaivng to be a stay at home dad.
“We are incredibly excited to have Ed join the KWTX Sports team,” sports director Sean Giggy said in a statement. “Ed established himself as one of the best sports broadcasters in the country. His reputation and expertise ensures that KWTX will continue providing the best and most complete sports coverage in central Texas.”

The station said Giggy will “continue to lead KWTX Sports operations on-air and online.”
