WGN‘s chief meteorologist, Tom Skilling, didn’t hide his excitement over the weather while covering the solar eclipse live.
“For some, it’s just a life changing experience,” he said during a hit from Carbondale, Illinois during the morning show.
And just as he was describing the crowd’s emotional reaction, he broke in tears down too.
“I will get it together guys, I promise and I will get back to you. Back to Chicago,” he said.
