Dion Lim Signs Off From WTSP

By Kevin Eck

WTSP anchor Dion Lim told viewers last night was her last on the Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla. CBS affiliate.

“Though tonight is my last newscast with 10 News, you’ll always be in my heart,” she wrote on Facebook. “Continue fighting the good fight. Empower. Inspire. Have courage. I’ll see you on Facebook for the exciting adventure ahead.”

Lim said goodbye on last night’s 11:00 p.m. newscast.

“Sometimes we don’t understand why or the timing of things but my gorgeous co-anchor is moving on and the thing is, the future is extremely bright,” said her co-anchor Reginald Roundtree. “It has been an absolute honor, a wonderful experience for the past three years and the thing I take away from all of this, you and I have gotten very close, very close, we talk about things like life, and religion and things of that nature, very heavy deep thoughts.”

“It is so hard for me to say goodbye,” said Lim.

Before coming to WTSP in 2014, Lim worked at WCNC in Charlotte, N.C. and at KMBC Kansas City. She’s also worked in Springfield, Mass., and in Hartford, Ct.
