Diane Macedo Makes a Pillow Fort as a Sound Booth

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Learning from pros is priceless for any broadcaster. ABC anchor-reporter Diane Macedo proves it in a video she posted to Instagram.

As an anchor for World News and correspondent on Good Morning America, she says you have to get creative in order, especially when scripts require last-minute changes.

“And that requires recording from home,” Macedo says.

The video cuts to a pillow fort at the side of her bed that she calls her “DIY sound booth.” The rest of the video speaks for itself. We promise you’ll get a laugh.

This is a must watch for any reporter in the business looking for tips on how to adapt to the pace of news in the digital age.
