WDIV reporter Victor Williams flashed his skateboarding skills while doing a report about free lessons happening at a local skate park.
Williams posted on Twitter that he “had to “show the kids something.” So he hopped on a board in full business suit did a couple of tricks live on-air. The tweet had nearly 18,000 likes at the time of this post.
His station bio says you can find him practicing his hobby when he’s not working. Williams told viewers during the live shot that he had been skating since he was eight.
“In all seriousness – as a child, I would have killed for a new park and mentors in the skateboarding community,” Williams wrote on Twitter. “Glad to see it’s happening in Detroit”
