Longtime morning anchor Jackie Schmillen is out at Des Moines, Iowa ABC affiliate WOI.
The Des Moines Register said there are no details around why she left the station in early October. WOI management told The Register it doesn’t comment on personnel matters.
Schmillen joined WOI in 2013 after working at KCCI in Des Monies for a year. She started her career at KPTH in Sioux City, Iowa in 2005.
