Denver’s KUSA Leads All NBC Affiliates During Olympics

KUSA, the Gannett Communications station in Denver, is the top-rated NBC-affiliate in the country for Olympic coverage among younger viewers in primetime, Gannett says.

KUSA pulled in the most viewers among the A25-54 demographic in primetime. KARE in Minneapolis and WXIA in Atlanta, also Gannett stations, place second and third, respectively.

“Working with NBC, our stations are doing terrific work bringing home the stories of our athletes throughout the communities we serve,” Gannett president Dave Lougee said in a statement. “We are engaging with our consumers across every platform– broadcast, mobile, online and in social media. As a result, we are seeing the relationship between social media and television viewing more fully realized with viewership reaching historic levels.”
