Eric Kahnert and KMGH “have made a mutual decision to part ways,” reports The Denver Post TV Critic Joanne Ostrow.
“Eric has a family medical issue that needs all of his attention right now. He is no longer an employee with Denver7,” said news director Lindsay Radford. “We wish him the best.”

Kahnert joined the Denver ABC affiliate in 2014 after working at KSTP in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. He worked at KUSA in Denver for three years before that.
