Aaron Vogel has been named news director of Decatur, Illinois NBC affiliate WAND.
Vogel comes from WAPT in Jackson, Mississippi where he was the assistant news director.
“We are very excited to have a talented, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable person to lead the WAND Newsroom and take it to the next level of quality news that will maintain our number one position in the market,” said Ricky J. Joseph, president and GM.

Vogel has also worked as ep at WVLT in Knoxville, Tennessee and WTOC in Savannah, Georgia. He starts Monday, January 23.
