Debra Alfarone Named Weekend Anchor at WUSA

WUSA has named Debra Alfarone co-anchor of its weekend news.

A station spokesperson told TVSpy, Alfarone joins Bruce Johnson “probably” the weekend of April 11.

Alfarone came to the Washington, D.C. CBS affiliate on 2012 from WPIX in New York. She has also worked at WVIT in Hartford, Conn. She also recently did a Tedx Talk called “Confessions of a TV Reporter.”
