Dayton CW affiliate WBDT has announced a second season for The Valley, a locally-produced “reality show” that “follows eleven young adults from the Dayton, Ohio area who are going through a rite of passage and tackling important issues along the way,” according to Media General, which owns the station.

“The Valley is not your ordinary reality show, it is reality with a purpose,” said Joe Abouzeid, president and general manager of WDTN and WBDT, repeating a line he used when the show premiered last September. “The cast members are at that critical age where the decisions they make now have a major impact in their lives. The show is both fun and enlightening for viewers of all ages.”
