WHIO anchor John Paul is making a 40 market jump from the Cox-owned Dayton CBS affiliate to Cox’s Charlotte ABC affiliate WSOC.
“The promotion is bitter sweet,” said Paul. “My family and I will love the warmer weather and the amazing station, but it’s going to be tough to leave an area we called home for the last eight years. This truly is one of the best news markets in the country.”
According to the Dayton Business Journal, Paul will leave WHIO sometime this summer.
