Darryl Burke has joined Huntsville, Ala., ABC affiliate WHNT as as multi media journalist and reporter.
“Grateful to announce that I’ll be a news/sports reporter for @whnt!” Burke announced on social media. “I’m thankful for the opportunity and I appreciate everyone that contributed to the process. To think I’ll be starting a career in broadcasting is a complete blessing and a dream I’ve had since a young kid.”
Burke graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2021 with a multimedia studies, broadcast/journalism degree.
Most recently, he interned with the ESPN 106.3 radio program in West Palm Beach, Fla. He covered major sporting events, high school football and even created commercials.
