WCBS anchor Dana Tyler says she’s coming back to the New York CBS-owned station soon.
“I have taken the last three months off for personal reasons and I look forward to returning to WCBS-TV within the next month,” she told The New York Daily News Confidenti@l.
The newspaper speculates the reason for her three month absence was the breakup of her ten year relationship with pop star Phil Collins.
“Dear friends and colleagues,” Tyler wrote on her Facebook page in February. “Many of you have noticed that I have not been anchoring the 6pm news the past few nights. I am taking some time off and will return soon. I look forward to seeing you when I get back.”
