Dana Hahn will join WTTG-WDCA, Fox’s duopoly in Washington, D.C., as vice president and news director.
Hahn moves to D.C. from Detroit, where she has been vice president and news director at Fox-owned WJBK for 12 years. She began her career at Fox as WJBK’s broadcast operations coordinator in 1996.
“Dana led WJBK to the #1 position and under her leadership, maintained its role as the market leader for many years. Her creativity, signature style and news acumen is unmatched and I look forward to seeing her influence on our newscasts,” WTTG VP-GM Patrick Paolini said in a statement.

DANA HAHN NAMED VICE PRESIDENT AND NEWS DIRECTOR OF WTTG/WDCA, WASHINGTON, D.C.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Dana Hahn has been named Vice President and News Director of WTTG/WDCA, the FOX-owned duopoly in D.C., announced Patrick Paolini, Vice President and General Manager, FOX Television Stations. Hahn will be responsible for overseeing all editorial, business and administrative functions for the stations, reporting directly to Paolini.
In making the announcement, Paolini stated, “Dana led WJBK to the #1 position and under her leadership, maintained its role as the market leader for many years. Her creativity, signature style and news acumen is unmatched and I look forward to seeing her influence on our newscasts.”
Previously, Hahn served as Vice President and News Director for WJBK FOX 2 for the last 12 years. Before her appointment to Vice President of News in 2001, Hahn was FOX 2’s Assistant News Director, a position she held for four years. Hahn joined the station in March of 1996 as a Broadcast Operations Coordinator. Prior to joining FOX 2, Hahn was Operations Manager at the start-up 24 hour newschannel, ChicagoLand Television News (CLTV). She began her broadcast television career at WSJV-TV.

Hahn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Video Communication from Madonna University in Livonia, MI. Prior to that, she completed the Technical Broadcast Program at Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts.
