Dan Pope Named Chief Meteorologist at KDRV After Departures of Scott Lewis and Milt Radford

By Merrill Knox

Following the departure of two KDRV weathercasters, Dan Pope will step into the role of chief meteorologist at the ABC affiliate in Medford, Ore.

Both Scott Lewis and Milt Radford have left KDRV, according to the Mail Tribune. Lewis plans to work full-time in real estate and Radford joined a radio station, news director Mark Hatfield said.

Pope joined KDRV in October. He is one of three certified broadcast meteorologists in the Medford market, according to the Mail Tribune.

“NewsWatch 12 remains the only station in the market with a meteorologist forecasting the weather for every newscast, every day,” Hatfield said.
